- 创作歌手黄小桢一共发行过两张专辑，分别是2001年的《黄小桢2》与1998年的《赏味期限》，这两张专辑在销售的商业成绩上也许不算突出，但黄小桢直接动人毫无造作的音乐风格，却为现今灿烂蓬勃的独立音乐立下典范。她的歌曲仍是目前独立音乐圈中最广为流传的经典作品，历久而弥坚，百听而不腻。
其实早在这两张专辑发行前，黄小桢曾与朋友合资录制了一张专辑，名为“No Budget”，顾名思义，就是一张没有预算的专辑，可是就是因为这张独立发行的作品，才让她有机会跨入主流音乐市场，也才让我们有机会听见她动人无比的音乐创作。
这张专辑当年是以卡带的形式，限量200张发行，包装极为精彩有趣。如果你今年刚考上大学，那当时你也不过刚要上小学。就在12年后，小桢决定要将“No Budget”以CD形式重新发行，原因之一是，卡带机器实在太难找，之二，则是我们想让你也能感受，毫无修饰的黄小桢，却带来了更巨大的震撼与感动。
