AR 将他第二张专辑的名字命名为“流行说唱”。
什么是”流行说唱“？通常的解读是：一种偏主流的说唱曲风，用悦耳的说唱伴奏配上旋律感强的演唱，成为满足大众喜好的音乐继而“流行”。
但同时，一首偏正统的说唱，也有可能因为歌词内容涉及社会话题的讨论，从而符合大众需求并成为卖座的音乐。这样的歌，模糊了“地下说唱”“硬核说唱”与“流行说唱”的边界，很多“正统说唱”也可以成为卖座单曲，被打上“流行”的标签。
中文说唱的商业化，对选秀节目等综艺平台具有强烈的依赖性，所涉及的话题与欧美流行说唱也有很大不同。AR 通过这张专辑，既是对现时的中文“流行说唱”做进一步的探讨，又在探索未来更多的可能性。

AR named his second studio album Pop Rap. What is Pop Rap? How do people recognize pop rap in China?
The commercialization of Chinese rap has strongly depended on talent shows especially the phenomenal one 'The Rap of China'. Rap topics involved are very different from the origins in Europe and America. Through this album, AR is further exploring the current Chinese “pop rap” and more possibilities of this imported culture in the future.
