- 来自美国密西西比小镇，在96年由主唱BRAD ARNOLD.贝斯手TODD HARRELL.与吉他手MATT ROBERS三位喜爱音乐的死党所创始，因为团员有三位故取名为'3'，同时在阿拉巴马州一个建筑物看到'DOORS DOWN'的标语，最后就命名“3 DOORS DOWN”
98年TODD邀约曾经一起玩吉他的CHRIS HENDERSON加入，壮大期声势，最后在专辑录制前加入鼓手DANIEL ADAIR,让BRAD终于摆脱边打鼓边唱歌的束缚。
这时的3DOORS DOWN正式以五人组合在2000发行首张专辑“THE BETTER LIFE”不仅登上热门潜力榜冠军，更跨至流行专辑榜TOP7，狂销600万张。
两年后再推出'KRYPTONITE'也同获摇滚及成人抒情榜双料冠军。
夹带各界殷切期盼，3 DOORS DOWN 发行第3张完整录音室作品'SEVENTEEN DAY'新式摇滚乐团DISTURBED、SOIL、UNLOCO的幕后推手JOHNNY K，负责此张专辑的制作。
