贝琳达·乔·卡莱尔（Belinda Jo Carlisle,生于1958年8月17日）是美国歌手兼词曲作者。作为The Go-Go's的主唱，她是全球最成功的全女性乐队之一，在世界范围内享有盛誉，继而成为独唱演员。

卡莱尔在南加州长大，于1977年开始自己的音乐生涯，作为洛杉矶朋克乐队“毒菌”的成员，并于1978年成为乐队成立后的主唱。随着他们的排行榜首次亮相1981年发行了“美女与垮掉”（Beauty and the Beat），帮助在美国推广新浪潮音乐，成为历史上第一支自编歌曲，自制乐器的全女性乐队。 Go-Go已经在全球销售了超过700万条记录。

是Belinda Carlisle。在过去的三十年间，她在the go-gos时带动了风靡一时的好莱坞
式青少年庞克文化，并唱红一首又一首精致的摇滚流行金曲。现在，她这些当年炙手可
热的歌都即将收录在---A Place on Earth-The Greatest Hits。

1958年8月于好莱坞的Belinda，自小受到加州流行广播电台播放的音乐影响颇深。曾在
传奇乐团Germs担任短期鼓手的Belinda，后来组了The GO-GO’S。自此之后她们震撼了
各地的乐迷，并为世人带来一连串脍炙人口的金曲。

但在单曲Heaven Is A Place On Earth之后，Belinda才真正开始享誉国际，挟著名导
Diana Keaton及影星Morgan Manson大力相助的音乐影带盛名之下，Belinda开始红遍亚
特兰大，从此也尊定了她继The GO-GO’S之后的个人演艺生涯基础。

在1986年的专辑Heaven On Earth里收录了Circle In The Sand及出自天后创作人
Diane Warren之手的Get Weak World Without You等排行金曲，Heaven On Earth所带
来的成功，对Belinda来说是美梦成真。尤其在她坚持维持原味之后，更是为流行乐竖
立新的范。其后Belinda推出一串如Leave A Light On La Luna、We Want The Same Thing
及Summer Rain等一连串排行成绩斐然单曲，这些歌曲，不但证明了个人的存在实力，
而由这些单曲所汇整的89年团辑Runaway Horses，更是在英国榜上蝉连了18个月之久，
一年之后，Belinda与The Go-Go’s再度接触，这次的合作是为了她的动物联盟PETA募
款并发行专辑The Greatest。

1991年推出专辑Live Your Life Be Free，除了多首脍炙人口的单曲之外，专辑中还收
录了Do You Feel Like I Feel？让Belinda与Rick Nowels和Ellen Shipley再度合作的
作品。92年Belinda推出了她个人的第一张精选辑后，随即在93年推出新的专辑Real，
其中的单曲Little Black Book与Scary Animals，我们看到了Belinda展现作词作曲部
份的才华，96年推出专辑A Woman And A Man，专辑中的单曲In Too Deep、California
、Always Breaking My Heart、Love In The Key Of C 等一样在排行榜上获得不错的
名次。

沈寂三年，Belinda将个人歌唱生涯中的精华，再以菁粹出张世纪终结前的全新精选
A Place On Earth-The Greatest Hits，除了将各个时期的重要单曲收录其中外，更特
别录制了三首全新的歌曲。首支单曲All God’s Childern，由曾为Cher销售量数百万
张的单曲Believe操刀的制作人Brian Rawlings制作，讲述迎接2000年人在思考世界的
未来和新的生活态度，另外，Belinda和知名制作人Johnny Douglas一起合作新曲
Feels Like I ve Known You Forever。

Belinda的成功可以说完全尊基于她个人的决心与自信。她说：'这些年来我了解到没有
