- 鼓动乐团（The Drums）是来自于美国纽约布鲁克林区的独立音乐乐团。 部分团员为前爱克兰乐团（Elkland）团员。
成立渊源
起创成员Pierce和Graham为青梅竹马，双方在参加夏令营时认识而后成为挚友。两人曾组过一支电音流行乐团叫做'Goat Explosion'，并在全美巡回演出。
之后好一阵子两人各自发展：Pierce组了另一支独立摇滚乐团叫做'Elkland'（爱克兰乐团），该团创下不错的佳绩而后为哥伦比亚唱片所签下。在此期间Graham也组了另一支乐团叫做'Horse Shoes'，隶属于'Shelflife Records'。双方在尝试过电子音乐的创作后，决定转变音乐风格。两人在2008年于纽约创立了现在的乐团，音乐风格一转由电音变成吉他伴奏。之后鼓手Connor Hanwick和前爱克兰乐团吉他手Adam Kessler也加入了鼓动乐团。
乐团发展
2009年12月，该团首度荣登2010年“年度新声”（BBC Sound of 2010）名单当中，之后BBC在2010年1月4日宣布鼓动乐团荣获该年“BBC年度新声”15名当中的第5名。音乐杂志《新音乐快递》及《Clash Magazine》皆将鼓动乐团列在2010年推荐必听乐团的名单当中。此外在'Pitchfork Media'2009年的读者票访结果中鼓动乐团也荣登是2010年的“最期待乐团”（Best Hope for 2010）宝座。
影响
