- Timothy 'T. V.' Smith（生于1956年4月5日）是一位英国创作歌手，1970年代后期曾是朋克乐队The Adverts的一员。从那时起，他已经走向了其他乐队，以及追求独唱的事业。

T.V. Smith和Gaye Black（又名Gaye Advert）从1976年在德文郡的一个沿海小镇Bideford搬到了伦敦，之后他们结婚了。广告以1977年单曲“Gary Gilmore's Eyes”而闻名，1978年首张专辑“Crossing the Red Sea”与The Adverts广受好评。继成功的“千人演员”后续专辑“The Adverts”在1979年末分手后，史密斯组建了一支新的乐队“史考特的探险家”。他们是：Erik Russell（吉他），Colin Stoner（贝司），Mel Wesson（键盘）和David Sinclair（鼓）。探险家于1980年发行了首张单曲“Tomahawk Cruise”（响应于在英国土地上安装BGM-109“战斧”巡航导弹），随后发行了一张专辑“Great Explorer”。史密斯随后录制为独唱艺术家，1983年发行了第五频道专辑。
