2006年：惊人出道
年仅22岁的Plan B发行的首张专辑【Who Needs Actions When You Got Words】，惨绿的专辑封面令人误解应该会是有如少年维特的烦恼那般忧愁的感觉，直到他的音乐从音响放出，才听见Plan B那咄咄逼人如机关枪式的饶舌方式，令人哑口无言，还惭愧真是有眼不识Plan B这一座泰山。
Plan B自14岁获得母亲送的吉他后，便积极创作歌曲，虽顺利获得了一些演出机会，但他渐渐厌倦了原先的节奏蓝调以及Soul的创作基调，因为抱着吉他以acoustic的方式演出，却总是在充满吵杂交谈饮酒声音的环境中被淹没，随后他改变了演唱风格，acoustic不变却大量渗入嘻哈/饶舌元素，Plan B之艺名由此而生，也因此他被签入679厂牌，成为来自英国伯明罕同为白人饶舌街头小子The Streets的师弟，此后便以首张专辑【Who Needs Actions When You Got Words】大大的震撼了英国乐坛，AMG、卫报、NME、Q等杂志纷纷祭出接近满分的评价，Plan B再普通不过的长相，以最不平凡的歌唱饶舌功力，让听过他音乐的人印象深刻，难以忘怀。
2010年：再发专辑
睽违四年之后，Plan B推出全新专辑【The Defamation Of Strickland Banks】 首先在封面上的一位西装笔挺的男子，就跟Plan B过去屌儿郎当的风格大相迳庭，原来是Plan B在专辑中捏造了一位同样来自英国的虚拟灵魂歌手Strickland Banks，Strickland总是穿着俐落的西装，在自己创作的情歌走红之后，尝尽了走红滋味与挥霍的奢侈生活，也因此遇上了令他又爱又恨的女人，最后因为莫须有的罪名被起诉而入监，这一连串的故事，透过Plan B来精彩地MV阐述，他那充满灵韵的声线，及早期的节奏蓝调、灵魂乐的创作根基，亦在此辑中施展极致。
Strickland Banks首部曲《Stay Too Long》，开头以怀旧的老式放克、灵魂乐就足以吓到你!!!而后伴随而来的重摇滚吵杂吉他声响，Plan B立即刻拿出快嘴生猛的饶舌绝活，简直是60年代白人灵魂歌手Smokey Robinson撞上金属大团Rage Against The Machine的全新体验。
接下来Strickland二部曲的《She Said》，再造曾经造成炫风的灵魂乐节奏蓝调大厂Motown、Stax的音乐风华，Strickland唱着那令他心碎的女子在法庭上违背良心欺骗所有人，摇摆的旋律、Plan B化身Strickland的温柔嗓音再次使人感到惊喜。
