- Pro-Pain是1991年由歌手和贝斯手Gary Meskil和鼓手Dan Richardson组建的纽约重金属/硬核朋克乐队，他们都是Crumbsuckers的前成员。他们的首张专辑“Foul Taste of Freedom”于1992年发行，展现了铁杆朋克和强悍的金属影响，之后乐队已经签到了Roadrunner Records，并于次年重新发行了专辑。他们的第二张专辑“真理伤害”最初被禁止，因为袖珍艺术品，尸体解剖后的缝合图案。
乐队多年来发行了几张不同阵容的专辑。自制专辑“上帝之行”，在乐队搬迁至萨拉索塔之后，看到乐队签署了“核爆炸记录”。相同的标签在2000年发布了第六轮，2001年发行了现场专辑Road Rage。2004年，他们发行了第一张Candlelight Records，Fistful of Hate的专辑。 Tom Klimchuck由于“一些潜在的严重健康问题的意想不到的情况”，于2011年离开乐队。他以后被替诺福德的亚当·菲利普斯（Adam Phillips）所取代。
