- Kurt Elling（生于1967年11月2日）是美国爵士乐歌手，作曲家，作词家和歌唱家。出生在伊利诺伊州芝加哥并在罗克福德长大的Elling首先通过他的父亲成为音乐爱好者，他的父亲是路德教会的Kapellmeister。长大后，Elling在合唱团演唱并演奏各种乐器，但直到他出席Gustavus Adolphus学院时才接触爵士乐。 Elling就读于芝加哥大学神学院的研究生院，但留校取得硕士学位一等奖，以追求爵士乐歌手的职业生涯。
