- Bal-Sagoth是1989年成立于英格兰约克郡谢菲尔德的交响乐黑金属乐队。
主唱/作词者拜伦·罗伯茨（Byron Roberts）最初是由一个具有强烈死亡金属元素的史诗/交响乐黑金属乐队形成的，他从罗伯特·E·霍华德（Robert E. Howard）的短篇小说“巴尔萨格的神”中得到了“巴尔萨格斯”的名字。他们的第一个演示录制于1993年，Bal-Sagoth从此发行了三张Cacophonous唱片专辑和三张Nuclear Blast专辑。
