- Absynthe Minded是一个比利时摇滚乐队，围绕着主唱，歌手和吉他手Bert Ostyn。他们的曲目包含三十多岁的爵士乐，带有一丝时髦的灵魂，巴尔干的节奏和默西塞德郡流行音乐。
Absynthe Minded原本是一个单人乐队，是音乐家兼歌手作曲家Bert Ostyn。他从1999年开始，在比利时根特（Ghent）（比利时）的一间5至4间卧室的8首歌曲中录制了“超过这个”（More than This），歌曲采用中等摇滚风格。
在录音室录制一些材料的机会带来了蘑菇假期（2000年）。在这个演示中，其他的音乐家们首次与Ostyn合作，后来成立了一个名叫Tao Tse Tse的乐队。 Ostyn的第三个演示，Krankenhaus酒店，再次在一个嘈杂的公寓卧室录制，在一个Tascam四轨。
第一个乐队演示叫做Sweet Oblivion（2002）;乐队本身更名为Absynthe Minded Quartet。在这个名字下他们自己巡演，并为几个乐队和艺术家（最著名的是Spinvis和Zita Swoon）提供支持。

2007年Absynthe Minded录制了他们的第三张专辑“There Is Nothing”。
