炭疽乐团（英语：Anthrax）是美国的鞭击金属乐团，1981年由节奏吉他手史考特·伊恩与贝斯手丹·利尔克成立于纽约市。炭疽是鞭击金属的领导乐团之一，他们与金属制品、麦加帝斯、超级杀手并称为“鞭击金属四巨头”（有时称作四大鞭），炭疽也是唯一在美国东岸活动的巨头（另外三个巨头都在美国西岸）。截至2017年5月，乐团共发行11张录音室专辑、6张现场专辑、6张迷你专辑、12张影像作品、26张单曲和音乐录影带，包括和嘻哈团体人民公敌的合作。根据尼尔森唱片市场调查系统的统计资料，炭疽在1991年至2004年卖出了一千万张唱片，其中在美国卖出近三百万张。

炭疽首先与独立厂牌百万大军唱片签约，1984年初发行首张专辑《金属之拳》后，丹·利尔克随即离开乐团。乐团改签核爆唱片后，由法兰克·贝略接任贝斯手。主唱尼尔·托宾在两年后由马特·法伦取代，接下来又换成乔伊·贝拉多纳担任主唱。乐团的新阵容于1985年由小岛唱片发行第二张专辑《散布病源》。1987年发行的第三张专辑《末日逼近》开始得到赞赏。1992年，原武装圣徒的主唱约翰·布什成为新主唱，炭疽的阵容又出现变化。隔年发行的第六张专辑《白噪音之声》登上美国告示牌二百强专辑榜第7名。

炭疽在1990年代时受到许多音乐风格的影响，尝试了很多实验性的融合金属乐。而乐团的阵容也经常改变，例如主唱先后就有九位歌手担任，离开的主奏吉他手和贝斯手加起来也有八位之多。节奏吉他手史考特·伊恩和1983年加入炭疽的鼓手查理·伯南特，他们是唯二在炭疽每一张录音室专辑出现的成员。贝斯手法兰克·贝略只有第一张专辑未参与到，那时的贝斯是丹·利尔克弹的。在2010年，乔伊·贝拉多纳回到了炭疽，并与乐团继续推出了《鞭金崇拜》（2011年）及《主宰宿命》（2016年）两张专辑。
