These are the most wonderful things in the world.
十几年前,我就有制作摇滚童谣的念头。但是实际执行上,比 做一张我自己的专辑要困难很多。首先是，我自己不需要再来太多的训练，就可以录音，编曲，制作等等。但是如果要做一张童谣，我相信由我这个大叔来唱的话，没有人要听。所以必须训练一批小小朋友。About 10 years ago, I already had the idea of producing Kids of Rock; however, I had come to the realization that it is actually much harder than creating another one of my own albums. First of all, I personally don’t need much more music training to still be able to record, arrange, produce, etc., yet, if I were to create a children’s album, I doubt anyone would want to hear an old guy sing it. With that said, I needed to train a group of little kids.
但是，传统意义上的童谣，早就已经不符合时代的需要。现在的小孩，早早接触网络，你用传统儿歌样那种方式去骗他们，他们已经不买单了。
所以我还必须训练这批小朋友唱摇滚乐，甚至演奏摇滚乐。这个部分，具有一定的难度，所以这个想法，缠绕心头多年未能实现。我深知没有别人的帮助，是不可能完成的。
However, traditional children’s songs are no longer relevant with today’s times. Children today are exposed to the internet at an early age. If you were to show them traditional nursery songs, they definitely won’t have any interest. Therefore, I had to train these little kids how to sing rock and even play rock music. I knew this part would be difficult which is why the idea of creating Kids of Rock had not come to fruition for many years. I also knew deep down that this idea could not be achieved without help.
终于因缘际会，在二零一九年，我发现文化部有母语音乐的补助。于是我就将摇滚，童谣，与母语结合，写了摇滚童谣第一集的企划。很幸运地，也很感恩，得到了文化部的补助。这张专辑，终于从构想化了实际。随后又得到客委会的大力帮忙，我们得以举办征选活动，选出七个可爱的小朋友加以训练，这张专辑终于得以出现在世人面前。
Finally, by chance in 2019, I discovered that the Ministry of Culture assisted in music sang in native tongue, so I combined rock and nursery rhymes with my native tongue and wrote the plan to the first Kids of Rock album. Very fortunately, and very gratefully, we received a subsidy from the Ministry of Culture. With that, I was able to turn this album from a dream to a reality. Later, with the committee’s help and support, we were able to hold an event to select 7 cute children for training and finally introduce this album to the world.
要感谢的人太多了，来自于政府公部门的帮助，来自于所有老师与家长辛辛苦苦的教导孩子们，并且在快乐的环境中成长学习。来自于众多职业好手们的演奏表演，录音，来自于家人与团队整个辛辛苦苦地协助与付出。这张专辑不是我一个人能够完成的，真的非常非常感谢大家。There are just too many people to thank. I want to thank the government for their support and all the teachers and parents for tirelessly providing guidance to the children. Because of them, we were able to create a happy learning environment. I also want to thank the many professional musicians for their performances and recordings, and to the families and the team on their continuous hard work and effort. I would not have been able to complete this album by myself and with that I really want to thank each one of you.
