- Embrace是一个后硬蕊乐团，成立于华顿特区。这个乐团1985夏天到1986春天，只维持不到一年时，是头个被称为情绪硬蕊(Emotional Hardcore)的乐团，但打从这个词出现，乐团就极力与这个词撇凊。乐团的成员有Minor Threat的Ian MacKaye与来自他弟Alec MacKaye乐团The Faith的三位成员：吉他手Michael Hampton、鼓手Ivor Hanson和贝斯手Chris Bald Hampton和Hanson曾一起在乐团S.O.A.表演。这个四人制乐团只发行一张专辑和一支单曲。
在Embrace解散后，MacKaye加入了Minor Threat前鼓手Jeff Nelson的Egg Hunt。 Bald以乐团Ignition继续，而在1992年鼓手Ivor Hanson与Hampton再次组成Manifesto。
