- 钢铁救世主是1996年在德国汉堡成立的德国电力金属乐队。经过几年的音乐制作幕后工作，多乐器演奏家兼制作人兼工程师Piet Sielck与前Helloween乐队成员Kai Hansen加盟，为盲人监护人Thomen Stauch设计的鼓手将参与一个将电力金属与高概念科幻故事相融合的新项目。乐队的首张专辑“铁救主”介绍了这个故事，将在多张专辑的过程中讲述一个自称为“铁救主”的太空船，以及它与亚特兰蒂斯神话失落文明的关系。
批评家们将铁救主的音乐和音乐方式比作犹大牧师，铁娘子和皇后等经典重金属乐队。凯汉森在乐队中的表现带给了铁救主的专辑，在这张专辑中他出现了受伽马射线和Helloween影响很大的风格。
自从成立以来，Iron Savior已经发行了10张录音室专辑，两张EP，两张单曲和一张现场专辑。
