- Cast是一支来自利物浦的英国摇滚乐队，1992年由John Power（主唱，吉他）和Peter Wilkinson（支持人声，贝司）组成，在Power离开之后，The La's和Wilkinson的前乐队Shack分道扬..在与不同的吉他手和鼓手的早期阵容之后，Liam“Skin”Tyson（吉他）和Keith O'Neill（鼓）于1993年加入Cast。
从1990年代中期的Britpop运动中脱颖而出，Cast与Polydor Records签约，他们的首张专辑All Change（1995）成为该品牌最畅销的首张专辑。专辑“Mother Nature Calls”（1997）和Magic Hour（1999）继续取得商业上的成功，但乐队第四张专辑“Beetroot”（2001）的声音偏离了一个糟糕的批评和商业反应，并促成了乐队的分裂两个发布几周后。
