专辑名称：Subsurface
The UK´s No. 1 Progressive Metal Export is back with a new masterpiece! Two years on from Critical Mass and after six months of intense writing, recording and producing, Threshold's 7th studio album Subsurface is done. Subsurface is in some respect a continuation of the direction the band started to explore with Critical Mass, yet in many other ways is a brash, audacious step forward. It retains their progressive roots and heavy approach whilst enhancing the accessibility of their overall sound to produce their strongest album yet. From the brooding, all embracing Mission Profile that opens the album, through to the emotionally charged epic Flags and Footprints, the band manage to captivate the listener with their distinct blend of cutting edge progressive metal. The artwork was designed by Thomas Ewerhard whom was responsible for the classic covers of Clone, Hypothetical, Critical Mass and Critical Energy.
